Endeavour's Chirp

Hi All,..

Had an the opportunity to do the sail past at the ELYC on Saturday and the ELYC, with all their juniors, put on a great water fight and sail past. They will be sending boats down to our opening, so the pressure is on, firstly to put on impressive show, and secondly, to drench them in the water fight. Endeavour went to the water fight unarmed, manager to secure some bombs, but failed to make any impact.... took a massive water bomb from the "Flying Pommie" and can regretably say that it is now : ELYC 1 / BRYC 0 ....

revenge must be our 1st priority ..

Challenge from Roy

Hi Chaps

The BRYC is going to run a structured racing season this year and are hoping to get as many boats on the water as possible for the races. The program has been structure so that :

·         The year is divided into 3 series  ( 4 months )

·         Starts in September  …. Spring Series

·         Each series ( 9 races ) has 3 discard races so that you would only need to sail 6 races over 4 months to get a result, that could let you win

·         Smaller boats will have competition within the competition ( class 2 )

·         There will be short races and longer races, again to make it suitable for all size boats.

·         There will be crew available for boats that need crew..

·       The program has been displayed at club.
