Mooring Inspection Report
Mooring  inspection  report:
Jan – March:      Maintenance to E-Trot
Inspection to A and B trots.
Maintenance was done to E-trot on Monday 14 March.

E1- MR NOAH. Upriver.    Mooring lines too thin and not according to specs.
E2-MR NOAH Downriver.    All good.
E2-MISCKEY upriver.    All good.

E3-MISCKEY downriver.    All good.
E3- DEAN CAT upriver.    All good.

E4-DEAN CAT Downriver.    All good.
E4- NED LUDD Upriver.    Mooring shackles too small. Regs state 22mm. All else good.

E5- NED LUDD Downriver.    Mooring shackles too small. All good.
E5- ORCA upriver.    One mooring shackle very thin pin less than 3mm. This was reported in the last report 3 months ago and has not been corrected.

E6- ORCA Downriver.    All good under buoy. Block buried under silt and unable to inspect shackles.

INSPECTION TO B-TROT:

B1- ELMARIE Upriver.    All good.

B2- ELMARIE Downriver.    One mooring line shackle thin. All else good.
B2- AQUA VITA Upriver.    Mooring line shackles getting thin. All else good.

B3- AQUA VITA Downriver.    One mooring line shackle thin. All else good.
B3- TENACITY Upriver.    One mooring line shackle thin. All else good.

B4- TENACITY Downriver.    All good.
B4- TANDAMANZI Upriver.    All good.

B5- TANDAMANZI Downriver.    Buoy to change asap. Eyes worn. All else good.
B5- ENDEAVOUR Upriver.         Buoy to change asap. Eyes worn. All else good.

B6- ENDEAVOUR Downriver.    All good. Block to replace. See below.
B6- KELKIE??? Upriver.           One line from block to buoy chafed off. To replace at next work day. All good.
    Very thin eye on block. To replace.
B7- KELKIE??? Downriver.      All good.
B7- ASTERIX Upriver.        All good.


A TROT INSPECTION:

A1- GYPSY Upriver.        All good.

A2- Gypsy Downriver.    GYPSEY mooring lines twisted. Eye on block very thin.     To change soon.
A2- DUET Upriver.    Mooring shackles worn getting thin.

A3- DUET Downriver.    Mooring shackles getting thin.
A3- SUN RISE Upriver.    Mooring shackle worn.

A4- SUNRISE Downriver.    All good. Chain around block getting thin. Mooring committee to replace soon.
A4- IPI TOMBI Upriver.    All good. See above comment.

A5- IPI TOMBI Downriver.    All good.
A5- ROOFNDOR Upriver.    All Good.

A6- ROOFNDOR Downriver.    All good.
A6- MERSEA Upriver.    All good.
A7- MERSEA Downriver.    All good. Chain links in block thin. Mooring committee need to change soon.


In the next few weeks the B-Trot will be worked on , straightened and sorted
Out. The first block on the upriver side of C-Trot will be moved and the
mooring lengthened to accommodate a larger vessel as discussed at the
meeting. This concludes the mooring report.
